I have been going to Ami, the owner of One Salon for about 10 years now. She is the most talented, hard working, and creative business owner I have met. She has always taken care of my hair needs and feeds my desire to try all the newest and greatest hair care products. The best one so far is the Milbon treatment. Something everyone should try; it changed the texture of my hair and it feels amazing. Regrettably, my recent visit to the salon left me feeling disappointed. I had gone in for blonde highlights a week before my wedding. Despite spending 4.5 hours on the coloring process (I have a lot of hair, but this was unusually long), the end result looked nothing like the picture I had shown. The highlights turned out orange, and there was a noticeable issue with the coloring on the top of my hair, resembling a patch in the middle. Upon contacting the stylist, I was able to return on Wednesday for a correction, which took an additional 3 hours. However, I was informed that my hair was not responding to the correction process. I have been getting blonde highlights since I was 16 and never encountered such issues before. It seems that mistakes were made during the initial highlighting process, and despite the stylist's efforts, the damage was irreversible. This happened right before my wedding, and I had hoped for my hair to be perfect for the occasion, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Below is the inspirational picture and my hair results on the first visit.
