We believe finding your wedding gown is a significant life event, and our enchanting spaces make it just as memorable as the dress itself. Our brides remain part of the Ava Laurenne family, with exclusive, grand celebrations held throughout the year, ensuring the magic of being a bride never ends.

How many people can I bring?
We can accommodate 4 guests for a classic or celebration appointment and 14 for a princess treatment!! It is so important to have all of your closest friends and family there with you! Saturdays are our busiest days, which means during the week there is more wiggle room to bring along extra guests if needed!
What sizes do you carry?
It is so important that every bride has an array of gowns to try on! It is one of our utmost priorities to have a variety of samples to help you find your perfect gown. We have samples from size 6 to size 30. Our average size for our samples is a bridal 12-14. Bridal gowns tend to run small, so be prepared to fit into a gown that may be 1-2 sizes higher in number than what you normally wear! (If you are a size 6, you will be an 8 or 10 in bridal!) We don’t know why designers do this, but we can assume it is based on European standard sizes! You will feel fabulous in the gowns here at Ava Laurenne!!

I had THE most amazing experience at Ava Laurenne Bride! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely excited to be part of my journey. Emmy was my consultant, and meeting with her felt like shopping with a friend. She took the time to hear about my engagement story and made the experience feel personal and extra special. Emmy was fantastic at her job; she listened so carefully to what I wanted and made the entire process feel effortless. During my first appointment, I went in with no specific ideas, but Emmy brought out a ton of options to help me explore different styles. When I came back with my girlfriends for my second appointment, I got the Celebration Package and I found my dream dress in the second gown I tried — and at an incredible price point! Throughout the process, there was absolutely no pressure to make a decision on the spot or to buy a particular dress. Emmy and the entire ALB team just wanted me to feel beautiful and to have a memorable day. Between appointments, I even texted Emmy with dresses I’d seen on their Instagram, and she made notes of everything I liked to be ready for my next visit. I was also lucky enough to meet the owner, Wendy, who helped guide me through trying on two dresses I was in-between and sealed the deal with her kind encouragement and expertise. The selection they have is amazing, and just being in the store feels like an experience in itself. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt special and supported, it’s easily been the highlight of my wedding planning journey so far. At this point, I’m wondering how I can get a job there because the team and atmosphere are just that wonderful! As a muslim girl trying to find a modest wedding dress, I had been having a hard time finding something in Virginia that fit the aesthetic and requirements I personally had when it came to the perfect wedding dress. This was the third place I went to find my dress and Brittney did the most amazing job helping me find it.
