We don't have a wedding date yet. Can we still HIRE you?

Yes of course! We start working with many of our clients before they have a date. Often booking your venue will set your date, and if you don’t have one yet, we'd love to help you find the perfect one. Having a planner to guide you through this process can be quite advantageous too, as we’ll be able to note the pros (and sometimes cons) of a space, help you navigate the contract, and ask the important questions that a seasoned professional knows to ask.

WHAT TYPES OF WEDDINGS DO YOU TYPICALLY COORDINATE? WHAT IS THE AVERAGE GUEST COUNT?

We love tented affairs but also have the pleasure of planning events at some of the top venues across the globe. We have coordinated a variety of cultural weddings such as Indian, Pakistani, Greek, Mexican, Native American, Chinese, Laotian, and Jewish weddings. We love immersing ourselves in the different traditions of each culture and we would love to hear more about yours. If there is something we have not done in the past, we are committed to educating ourself prior to working together to learn all we need to know. Our smallest event was just 12 guests and our largest was well over 600 guests. No event is ever too small or too big!

Quick update for anyone reading along: After posting this review (posted below) Stephanie has been contacting the bride during her honeymoon complaining about my review and trying to get the bride to have me take down the review - which I consider harassment at this point. Stated she won’t let up on me until I take down this review and if not will take legal action against me. She also made it clear that she searched for me online and that she can easily write a review on me. This is the level of unprofessionalism I wouldn’t want to work with again and want to warn others about! . . Im a wedding photographer and have been for the last 7 years. I recently worked a wedding and Stephanie was the wedding coordinator. Being a photographer, timing and coordination with the bride/groom is extremely important. Stephanie did not communicate with me or my second photographer at all during the entire wedding. Which made the day very difficult and confusing. And a lot of times when I needed to ask her questions about the schedule - she was no where to be found. There was some downtime during cocktail hour (and for those who work weddings know that you are on your feet for 8+ hours) so me and my second took a break to prepare for the second half of the event. The bride (who is the one who hired me) gave us the green light to enjoy food and drink - which we did. We had a celebratory drink with the bridal party. Stephanie did not hesitate to announce in front of all guests and other vendors on how unprofessional we are for “drinking while working”. This should have been discussed in private - NOT in front of clients and other vendors. If you are going to write this in your mission statement “This day has to be one that is crafted and orchestrated with care to ensure it’s enjoyable for everyone” please stick to it! The event and the venue were absolutely gorgeous - but wouldn't work with her in the future.

Stephanie was a wonderful person to work with for our wedding in Marin, and we recommend Teague Events highly! Stephanie was referred to us from a friend, and we ended up hiring her to be our month-of/day-of coordinator. We had a great experience with Stephanie and her assistants, and they were extremely professional and ran the show during our big day. My wife and I did most of the planning for our wedding, but wanted to ensure we didn't have to worry about all the granular details and any issues that would arise with vendors, last-minute changes, etc. We were able to focus entirely on our wedding ceremony and spending time with friends and family! Stephanie was great with everyone involved and helped to set up and run the show. We would recommend Stephanie and her team without hesitation for your wedding planning and celebration.

Stephanie is the best! We were working with Stephanie for almost 18 months to help us plan the best backyard wedding in the same location my parents got married 30 years ago. Stephanie was always available and quick to answer any questions or help solve any problems. We picked May because we assumed it would be an easy weather day but of course in CA you never know what is going to happen! About a week prior to the wedding we learned there may be some rain, about 3-4 days before we learned there was a chance it was going to be dumping for basically the whole day! Stephanie used her connections to secure us a LAST MINUTE tent for our 100+ wedding guest party and helped rearrange the entire layout to organize all of our reception tables to fit under the tent and not get rained on. Chances are, it was raining ALL day, so good thing we got the tent, the whole reception and dance floor area would have been ruined, but instead the design stayed perfectly dry. After the ceremony the sun parted and it was beautiful the rest of the day and we never had to worry about anything thanks to Stephanie. It was the best day ever. And we could NOT have done it without her. We would recommend her to everyone! Sincerely, Claire & Reagan Hime

Teague Events is the best! Stephanie & her team saved the day for my daughter's May 6th outdoor wedding. We pivoted to a rain contingency plan 48 hrs before the wedding. Stephanie was able to secure a tent within an hour. 'Day of' had on and off showers and sunshine throughout the day. Stephanie, watching the weather forecast almost constantly, orchestrated the set up to prepare for rain. Half hour before the ceremony it poured rain for 10 minutes. Stephanie and her team scrambled to keep everything dry, including the guests. 10 minutes before the ceremony the rain passed, the sun cleared, the team took tarps off the seating and the ceremony and the rest of the event went on without a hitch from our perspective. While we saw all the stress, dedication and hard work Stephanie put in to make everything work perfectly, all the guests experienced was a flawless wedding. Thank you Stephanie for caring so much to make this a memorable wedding for all, particularly the bride and groom.

My now-husband and I hired Stephanie for the full service coordination. We hired her in mid-December for an October wedding, leaving only about 10 months to plan. Although she was pricier than we were looking for, after doing extensive research she actually ended up being the most affordable for the most services! Other planners we looked at charged the same amount as Stephanie's full-service package for half the work. In the wake of COVID-related wedding postponements, many venues were fully booked, but Stephanie did a great job in finding us unique venues to explore that matched our desired wedding aesthetic, and she found us a perfect place. She also recommended great vendors, did an amazing job at keeping track of contracts, due dates, and keeping us on track for who we should be booking when, what we should be buying, etc. She always responded to our questions in a timely manner and was great about communicating if she needed more time to respond (for example, if I texted her a question but she was running another wedding, she would let me know that and would let me know when I could expect a response). Stephanie provided lots of insight as to where we could get certain things we wanted for our wedding (votives, sparklers, etc). We had a Star Wars & Harry Potter themed wedding, and Stephanie did a great job of incorporating this in a subtle and beautiful way. The day of the wedding, Stephanie made sure all the vendors arrived on time, coordinated set-up and breakdown of everything, and left my husband and I feeling calm and confident on what we've heard is a very stressful day! She oversaw everything, dealing with any problems as they arose, and I never even saw or hear about the hiccups until well after the wedding, which was perfect because it let me truly enjoy my special day. She was able to figure out my complicated bustle when my MOH had to drop out of the wedding, kept everyone on time, and even helped us secretly figure out our photographer's favorite song so we could play it for him to dance to! With both of us working high-stress full-time jobs, I'm not sure how we would have made it through the wedding planning without Stephanie. She's meticulously organized and really helped bring our vision to life, and we had the absolute best day ever. Over six months later we are still hearing from guests how fun our day was and that it was one of the best weddings they've ever attended, and we know it was in large part thanks to Stephanie.
